Laboratory fume cupboard strip out and refit

In 2009 Roperhurst was asked to strip out four aged wood carcass fume cupboards and replace them with four modern cupboards, reusing existing ductwork and fans wherever possible.

PVC/GRP acid storage tanks

Roperhurst was asked to fabricate and install two 10,000 litre acid storage tanks, using PVC reinforced with GRP.

Fume scrubbers for a wide range of industrial uses

Roperhurst designs, builds and services fume scrubbers for a variety of industrial uses, using materials such as polypropylene, PVC or PVC/GRP.  This PVC/GRP fume scrubber was designed and built by Roperhurst in Barry last year for export to China.

Odour control (waste water treatment)

Roperhurst has carried out major odour control works at waste water treatment plants around the country.

Bespoke fibreglass products

Roperhurst has manufactured all sorts of bespoke fibreglass products.  One of the most unusual was this witches cauldron, which was designed as a centrepiece for a shopping centre in the run up to Halloween.

Lining galvanising tanks

In recent years we have lined tanks at many of the UK's largest galvanising plants, as well as at steelworks, automative plants and other large industrial sites.

Site work in Australia

In 2008 Roperhurst sent a team of six specialist engineers to work in a steelworks in Australia.  We were chosen by the American contractor because of the quality of work we had provided to them previously in the UK.
